Kris walked us through the entire process of creating a New York Beauty quilt block using silk necktie fabric, including a hands-on demonstration of how to sew the block.
Following the presentation, members shared their own projects created using the foundation paper piecing technique, showcasing a variety of beautiful and creative work.
As always, our March meeting was both inspiring and enjoyable!

We shared our works of art during Show & Tell, and this year we also took time to recognize and appreciate the volunteers and teachers who support the Sewing Club at Lower Lake Elementary School. Their time, effort, and dedication made the program such a wonderful success, and we are truly grateful for all they do.
