Skill's Day was created for Guild
Members to share their skills, talents
and abilities with other Guild members!
We are so lucky to have such talented
members willing to teach various
quilting techniques!
Our monthly scheduled day is the 3rd
Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM, held at the
Scott's Valley Women's Center .
Scroll down to see workshops available.
As a courtesy to all, please
pre-register. This can be done at any
General Meeting. A $10 deposit will be
required to hold your spot. At the
workshop, if you are present, your
deposit will be refunded. If you are
not, your deposit will be forfeited and
will be considered a donation to the
guild.
Members are encouraged
to share their talents. If you have an
interest or talent please contact the
Skill's Day Chairman.

16 will be “Stained Glass
Sweatshirts”, taught by Pat
Dandy.
These
are gorgeous finished and
are perfect for January
weather. Sign up and
materials list will be out
at the November meeting.

February 20 has a beautiful
“Hexagon Bag”. This class
will be given to us by Julie
Nodine.
She has
not only a materials list
ready for the November
meeting, but some
instructions for doing
ahead—so everyone will have
a chance to walk away in
February with a completed
bag. (I plan on using Asian
fabrics to make mine!)

March 20 we see the fabulous
Pat Dandy again, this time
with a “Lacy Thread Scarf”.
These are wonderful spring
weight scarves. (And the
technique, with a little
imagination, could be
wonderful in an art quilt.)
There is a materials fee of
$10 per lady taking the
class, which will make one
adult scarf, or two
children’s scarves. Sign up
and materials list will be
available in November.
