About our 2008 Opportunity Quilt:

“Trees” Opportunity Quilt 2008

The inspiration and design for the quilt was created by Shelley Aldrich. Shelley supplied the background fabric and asked members of the guild to create their own “Tree Block”. Marj Sweeney and Pam Fiora worked together assembling the quilt top consisting of various blocks in all different sizes; the machine quilting was done by Julie Nodine.  Wilma Taylor added the binding. Special thanks to Pam Hendricks for designing and creating a beautiful machine embroidered label for the back. It was truly a group effort in making this beautiful Opportunity Quilt.

The Drawing date was held Sunday, October 5, 2008.

We are happy to announce that it was won by  LeeAnn Plante of Citrus Heights (Sacramento area).

She happens to be Guild member Jane Alameda's daughter's sister-in-law!

.   She first saw it at the Lake County Fair and "loved it"!

She has it, and is so excited!!

Thank you all for your support!
