Eyes Circles by Reba Chavez |
Bull's Eyes Circles
Reba Chavez
will get us off to a wonderful New Year with
BULL’S EYES CIRCLES. Reba promises this is
a fast way to make a coordinated
statement or to use up small pieces of fabrics for a scrappy
quilt. Take a look at the picture. This is really going to
be fun. Lets do a pot luck for
lunch and sew ALL day.

Face Painting |
FACE
PAINTING with Margaret.
A supply kit will be available for $35 and this includes ink
sets, PFD white fabric, 4 inks, 8 applicators, eye droppers
and mixing containers for customizing ‘face’ colors. It
also has a stand to keep the inks from spilling. Margaret
will need the total number of students
by the January
meeting so she can order the supplies. And keep the
price low.
In addition to the kit you will need to bring:
-
A color
picture of the actual size face you would like to
create. 8" X 10" is recommended.
-
Photocopy
this same image in black and white and bring this, too.
-
And a
mechanical pencil.
Lets just do pot luck for lunch and
plan on creating late and laughing often! |

Chenille Blanket
|
Chenille Blanket
with Wilma Taylor
Wilma brought a Baby Blanket last month for Show and Tell
and everyone wanted to do this so she has agreed.
This technique will open doors to
so many possibilities, scarves, hats, toys…you get the
picture.
I will make beef barley soup for this one because Wilma said
she liked it last time. Don’t forget take home containers.
You know how big the soup pot is.

QUILT BAG with
DEBORAH MILLER
Many of you have asked for
a class on this handy and versatile bag to store and carry
your quilts and supplies. This is an excellent way to use
fabric that might not fit into your “new” favorite colors
and style of fabric. These make a great gift and can become
addictive. For lunch how about a sampling of finger foods
or snacks. Let’s branch out and bring recipes with the
sampling. OH YUMMY!
